Wee Ginger Dugcast – 23 August 2019

In the latest edition of the dugcast, The National’s editor Callum Baird and I discuss our visit earlier this week to Dundee, the annual GERSmaggeddon that brings such glee to British nationalists, pensions, and how the Tories are still the nasty party.

    Yet another stonking wee dugcast fellas. This is one of my must haves on a weekly basis.Calm, measured, informative and overwhelmingly good humoured, You bring our indy online and print media together here seamlessly. The relationship between The National and WGD and your joint commitment in all these extra curricular activities is a great tribute to you both and plays a key part in keeping us old codger activists motivated.

    Brilliant as usual.

    Cheers!

      Seconded, it is a wise tonic in a sea of deceit…

      @Alistair Robertson
      That was almost unbearable. Calm sure…but their points were so poor they basically neutered YES.

      Callum stating that GERS should be accepted and then Scotland work from that point. WTAF! GERS is a political tool and now so bizarre it self-owns as it reveals the full lie it is. Callum’s position is like saying anyone falsely accused of a crime should accept that as true and then work from there to rehabilitate yourself. You will only lose that game and the SNP are inept that in all these years it has not changed the narrative. Westminster should be scared to even release such a paper for fear of how the SNP will punish them for this brazen pish.

      Until there is a fully itemised accounts for each country in the UK and they add to the total UK figures…GERS is fit for nothing more than toilet paper.

      The rest is basically calling out the inability of the SNP to be effective for YES and Scotland yet lets this continue as the full might Westminster and the brutality couched within Brexit hurtles down on the people. WGD and Callum dealing with isolated arguments and aggressions miss the forrest for the trees. It’s time to stop pretending that we are in normal times and we are having small isolated political/policy spats.

    Can’t find it on National’s page or on soundcloud. Has it been loaded yet? Also can you start mentioning the date when broadcasting. Thank You. You do a brilliant job for indy. Lynn.
