Wee Ginger Dugcast – 12 July 2019

Welcome to the latest edition of the Wee Ginger Dugcast with myself and Callum Baird of The National. This week we discuss the Tories’ panicked attempts to plaster union flags on things in an attempt to save the union that they themselves have broken, plus we also talk about an exciting project that I’m working on – the plan for a Wee Ginger Book. And now I can reveal that not only will I be doing the book, together with The National’s video team, we’ll also be producing short videos on each of the book’s chapters to share online.

Particularly glad to hear agreement on early boosting of info and encouraging dialogue before an official go is announced. There is a sea of disinformation out there being fed by media and keyboard warriors, and a tidal wave coming in. If Brexit taught nothing else it is the danger of sustained propaganda unchallenged….
    Enjoy your breaks both…

Paul, the conversation between you and Callum on the podcast is barely audible …. it’s been like this for weeks ,,,, don’t know if it’s my laptop or your recording equipment …. is anybody else having a similar problem ?

    • Andrew Mills says:

      Yup. Me too.

    • Tearlach says:

Yep me too. I really value and enjoy the blog but I’ve kinda given up on the Dugcasts as they’re too hard to follow because of the poor recording quality. This week I can make out Paul ok if my volume is at 100% but Callum sounds like he’s in the next room behind closed doors. Hope the National can sort this out. Have a great holiday meanwhile.
