Wee Ginger Dugcast – 22 March 2019

In this week’s Dugcast, Callum Baird of The National and I discuss the ongoing binfire which is Brexit, the shameful Home Office and the difficulties it creates for those of us who have foreign spouses – a topic which personally affect me of course – and Kay Burley and mansplaining.

Warning, at one point I say shite, but in my defence I was talking about what Kay Burley had been saying, so I reckon it was fair comment.

  2. You need to hear Anna Soubry on Channel 4 news talking about the Indicative votes. It’s all a con – https://twitter.com/Haggis_UK/status/1109191657751228416
These votes are just going to be about what happens AFTER the Withdrawal Agreement passes, (if it even does).

The question put to the sovereign people of Scotland should not be do you want independence,it should be do you want to end the treaty of the union thereby automatically becoming independent. just a few points that I didn’t hear mentioned in the video.at this moment in time 5000 civil servants of uk government are sitting in Scottish government,we can’t have independence if they are sitting in there like a cuckoo in the nest, secondly there was no mention that at present military are buying up land in and around Luss and there’s a supposed military exercise going on that just happens to coincides with brexit date. I think it is til some time in April. I would love to become independent from the crazy austerity dictatorship that has engulfed uk politics over the past years, but we can’t do this if we are not fully aware of everything that is going on around us in Scotland in Westminster and in the eu, the video makes excellent points especially about the treaty of the union being a treaty between just two countries Scotland and England, and it definitely was a treaty not a assimilation or absorbing of Scotland into England..We the sovereign people( not citizens, there’s a big difference legally ) of Scotland also have the right to self determination and on the 4th JUly 2018 Westminster agreed that we can choose who we want to govern us in Scotland. If we choose not to be governed by Westminster or any part of England and instead choose to be governed by a sovereign people’s of Scotland representative parliament we the people of Scotland will always retain our sovereignty above any parliament or government in Scotland or any other country that may try to interfere.
